TeacherPlus Gradebook: HTML5 Official Beta Release

As a company committed to the best in emergent technologies, we are pleased to announce the official beta release of our newest version of TeacherPlus Gradebook, built with the innovative framework HTML5, scheduled for Monday morning (EDT), November 16th, 2015. HTML5 offers cross-browser compatibility without requiring plug-ins, meaning that our TeacherPlus Gradebook works on any computer, in any browser, including the latest Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge versions. Additionally, HTML5 offers greater speed and a responsive user experience on mobile devices.

The HTML5 Beta version of TeacherPlus Gradebook comes to you with a brand new interface but with familiar functionality. Indeed, though some of the features work a bit differently than they do in the Silverlight version, most of them work similarly enough to assure a smooth transition between versions. To help you and your users quickly adapt to this new version, I invite you to explore the TeacherPlus Gradebook HTML5 Beta Quick Start Guide at PlusPortals administrators will have access to your school’s HTML5 Gradebook link through the PlusPortals admin site, and teachers can access it directly from their portal Home page, as illustrated below:
It’s important to note that some of the features available in the Silverlight version are still being developed and perfected for the HTML5 Beta version, hence why this is a Beta version and not yet a full general release. These features include, but are not limited to: Reports, Seating Charts, and Skills Calculations. It has been quite a challenge to replicate in HTML5 all of the functionality offered by our Silverlight version, but we'll be working continuously throughout the year to bring you a most comprehensive, full-featured version.

Please feel free to contact our team at should any questions arise, or simply to provide additional feedback.

Best Regards,
The TeacherPlus Team
