This update brings a brand new design to the user account page, enhancements to email invitations, the beta version of the Plans feature, and a couple of fixes.
We have introduced a new tool for Teacher Evaluator to help users evaluate and make conclusions based on a collection of past evaluations. The tool allows users to access their comments and selections from submitted evaluations while completing a new evaluation. Simply selecting the summative evaluation tool tile from the evaluation toolbar allows users to choose any of their past evaluations and view their comments and selections in the present form.
Teacher Evaluator enables you to gather useful information about your schools and the teachers within them, allowing you to make targeted improvements. This all starts with the dashboard, as soon as you sign into your account.
Artifacts allow users to support their comments and selections on evaluations. An artifact can be linked to the section of an evaluation that it pertains to, but many times, it is useful to be able to link the same item to several sections that it relates to.
When adding descriptions to different parts of the evaluation form, as well as some sections of the evaluation itself, the text area now supports formatting using Markdown. Markdown is a markup language for text, which supports the basic formatting that you can find in other applications, such as Microsoft Word, to help style your writing.
You can now create more advanced reports on your evaluations that are targeted to meet your specific needs.
The latest update to Teacher Evaluator includes a modification to how signatures are handled on submitted evaluations. Users previously had the ability to add digital signatures to evaluation forms. However, there were only two spots for signatures, one for the evaluator and the other for an instructor.
